clear vision of Tarlis is conveyed in exquisite detail. The book
combines all the best elements of medieval fantasy, taking it to even
grander heights. Though it can be a bit of a slow read due to somewhat
confusing names and narration that jumps between characters, the depth
given to each character outweighs those few flaws. Most impressively,
this story manages, in a world with plot lines done and overdone to be
surprising."
